The fifth installment of our R&D label was brought about by blending 2018 Orange Muscat with neutral grape spirits from a local distillery. The blend was aged about 2 years, then was amended with more Orange Muscat (2020) and grape spirits to create a rich and smooth dessert wine.

Tasting Notes
The color of pale straw, with orange blossom and honey on the nose. Strong honey flavor and a hint of caramelized sugar, like crème brûlée in liquid form.

Other Notes
This fortified white wine began in 2018 with Orange Muscat grapes, to which we added neutral grape spirits. The wine aged 2 years, and then was amended with more Orange Muscat and more spirits, then allowed to rest 7 months before bottling.

I loved this wine! But it needs to be in a bigger bottle!
