WINE CLUB POLICIES
Members must be 21 years of age or older.
Members must use an address in a state that allows shipments from us (see list of approved states): Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida (only approved zip codes), Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon, Texas, Wisconsin, and District of Columbia.
Members must have a valid VISA, AMEX, Discover or Mastercard on file to receive club orders and benefits. We cannot process club orders as cash transactions.
While there is no cost to join and no annual membership fee, your card will be charged at least one (1) week before the wine is shipped or pick up is made available.
Charges vary for each club order depending on sales tax (by state) and wine selection.
Wines included in club orders are subject to change due to availability. Club wines are carefully selected by our winery staff, but if you would prefer to customize your selection you may do so by logging into your account through our website at carlsonvineyards.com or upon your visit to either tasting room location prior to Wine Club processing.
In order to offer an exclusive experience to our members, we are unable to extend member benefits or member pricing to non-members.
Carlson Vineyards requests its members to satisfy a one (1) year minimum commitment to the Wine Club.
With the CV3 wine club, there is a minimum purchase of 4 club orders, with a minimum of 3- bottles purchased per order, spread throughout the year, in the months of March, May, September, and November.
With the CV12 membership, there is a minimum of 2 club orders with a minimum of 12-bottles purchase per order spread throughout the year in the months of April and October.
Wine Club Memberships are ongoing and can be canceled once the club order minimum requirement has been fulfilled. Requests for cancellation of membership must be made at least 10 days prior to club order processing.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing: via email to our hospitality team (email@example.com), or by mail (Carlson Vineyards 461 35 Road Palisade, CO 81526).
Cancellations of shipments or memberships cannot be honored during the wine club processing period. Early cancellation of membership prior to meeting the minimum requirement as stated above will result in a ($20 per unfulfilled club order) early cancellation fee, which will be processed using the card on file.
Members are allowed one (1) skipped club order per year with advance written notice, submitted via text message to (970) 640-9455 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Membership holds longer than 6 months may result in cancellation of membership benefits.
Members are responsible for any state taxes that may apply to the purchase and/or shipment of any wines.
If you need your wine shipped or picked up during a specific time period, please notify our wine club manager at 970-640-9455 or by email to email@example.com. With advance notice, we are happy to change your ship/pick-up date to ensure delivery.
To ensure that our wine club members always receive first access to our wines and receive the best pricing possible, we reserve our wine club exclusive wines for one full year from release. After the full year we will make these wines available for the public and roll out a new series of club exclusive wines to me made available to members only for the year.
Terms & Conditions
By placing an order, you represent to us you are at least 21 years old and the person to whom you are directing delivery is at least 21 years old.
Club shipments require an adult signature at the time of delivery. For this reason, we cannot ship to a P.O. Box and strongly recommend shipping to an address where an adult 21 years or older is available to sign for the package..
You will be emailed tracking information once the carrier scans your package. These details will be sent to the email you provided in the shipping address field. Check to be sure that it isn’t sent to your spam or junk inboxes. Please check directly with the carrier for the most accurate delivery estimate so you can ensure someone is present to sign for your wine.
Please note: Ground delivery typically takes 1 – 7 business days, depending on your state’s proximity to Colorado.
Our primary carrier is UPS. To best manage your deliveries, we strongly recommend you sign up for UPS My Choice. It is free to sign up and allows you to request more services to simplify delivery, such as vacation holds or appointment delivery through this program, which only the recipient can select.
The carrier will make three delivery attempts before returning the package to us. If you know you will not be able to sign at the time of delivery, or if you receive a notice the package missed its attempted delivery, please reach out directly to the carrier service.
You may be able to:
· Arrange to pick the package up at a local facility. Please note, carriers will only hold packages for 5 days.
· Have the package sent to an alternate address. Please note, changing the delivery address will incur an additional expense.
It is your obligation to update account information before the beginning of a shipment month. Misdirected shipments and delivery difficulties may result in additional shipping charges.
To update your account information, please log into your account through our website at carlsonvineyards.com or you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Shipped orders cannot be re-routed or adjusted once it has left our facility.
Changes cannot be made to shipping orders once we have processed.
Members are responsible for all shipping charges including those incurred due to misdirected and/or returned shipments. A $10 handling fee to recover shipping charges will be processed for all returned orders.
If your wine is not successfully delivered and is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange re-shipment. Please note that if your wine is returned to us, you will be charged the shipping cost required to re-send the package. There is a $30 restocking fee for returned wine club orders that members do not wish to have re-sent.
If you receive a package that has been visibly damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange for an exchange or refund. Please keep the products in the original packaging. We will advise you how to arrange for the package to be returned to us and plan for a replacement shipment or refund.
We discourage shipping wine as a surprise gift, as packages containing alcohol require the signature of someone over 21 at the time of delivery. When gifting wine, we ask that you communicate with the recipient so they can expect a package from Carlson Vineyards that needs a signature. We also ask that you provide an email address for the recipient, so they can receive tracking information and best prepare for a successful delivery.
All information related to payment will only be sent to the contact in the billing field. Additionally, costs are not listed on our packing slips.
We will happily include a personalized gift note if you pass your desired message on to us!

-Tasting Room Pick-Up Members-
Pick-up club members are notified one month in advance of each pick-up by email.
For our pick-up wine club members: Limited bottling wines are on a first-come, first-served basis. Members who request pick-up as the option for their order have 30 days from processing to retrieve their club wines from the designated pick-up location. Carlson Vineyards is unable to hold your club order past this time. If after 30 days, you have not picked up your wine or made other arrangements with us to receive your wine, we will consider your wine abandoned and it will be returned to inventory with a $30 (per club order) restocking fee.
After the pick-up grace period has ended, substitutions may result for your preferred bottle selection. Please contact us at 970-640-9455 if you need to make other arrangements.
Members should notify the tasting room staff in advance when friends or family are picking up for them.
