Tasting Notes
Deep garnet in color with a bright nose of candied plum, chocolate covered raspberries, licorice, and leather. On the palate, ripe plum and black cherry dominate licorice and vanilla, with medium-plus acidity and a full mouthfeel.

Other Notes
This fortified red wine began in 2016 with Noiret grapes, to which we added 148-proof spirits. That blend aged in neutral French oak barrels 4 years, then was amended with fortified Chambourcin.
